If you’re looking for laid-back, go-with-the-flow entertainers, you’ve found them. We’re all about people enjoying themselves in whatever way suits them – a shiny, candlelit formal dinner or a casual backyard BBQ. You supply the venue, we’ll provide the entertainment.
On a more formal note, over the last 20 years, we’ve won 12 industry awards. So we must be a bit of alright. Right?
But apart from having fun, our success is built on the fact that we don’t compromise on quality, and we don’t try to be everything to everyone. Our focus is on chilled private events with casual background grooves – perfect for people who’d like a more intimate and memorable atmosphere than a big bash.

Who’s in the band?
NightShift Band are the two founding members of the original award-winning Soul Divas Band. We feature sultry vocals and cool guitar filled out with professional backing tracks – a full sound without the full budget. We’re warm, well-presented, professional musicians who have performed together for over twenty years.

What music styles do we play?
We’re not one of those bands who try to play everything to please everyone. We play what we love, what we’re good at, and it shows: cafe grooves, retro soul and RnB is our thing, with maybe little dash of funk if you’re up for it. Think of the more cruisier songs of Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Marvin Gaye, Incognito, Jason Mraz, Sade, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Jamiroquai, Etta James, James Brown. Get the picture? What PA equipment do we use?
Our state of the art NEXO system is always maintained to excellent standards so it looks and sounds fantastic – no shabby, second hand equipment here. Our professionally programmed digital sequences provide excellent sound quality and give us complete control of volume levels. We can add a little colour with subtle stage lighting if you like, but there are no discos here.
