Winner of 5 ABIA Industry Awards for “Best Wedding Ceremony Music”.
(Australian Bridal Industry Awards)
Want to make your wedding ceremony music an unforgettable highlight of your wedding day? Here’s how: Take your mind back to watching your favourite movie, the love scene, and just listen. What’s behind the dialogue? What’s making the scene incredibly emotional and tugging at your heart? It’s the MUSIC. Without it, the scene is dull and static. It’s the music that either breaks your heart or elevates you to happiness.
Annie Collins Wedding Singer, Manager, MC and lead vocalist with Nightshift. Her professionally trained voice lends itself to any style of wedding ceremony music, adding her own soulful style to modern and classic love songs. Annie also works with an additional backing vocalist for gorgeous harmonies or with the talented guitarist Chris Collins if you prefer a more acoustic live sound.
Sound and Set Up
Annie provides everything required to perform at your ceremony. Backing music is played via a professional, portable PA system with microphone. (Battery power available if required). Set up is 45 mins prior to your guests arriving, including 15 mins of iPod music while guests are waiting.
PA System Only
If you would prefer us to play recorded music via an iPod (instead of having a live ceremony vocalist) and only require a PA system set up and operated, we can provide this service too.
Locations / Weather Protection
Churches, chapels and gardens are all fine. Beach locations will incur an additional cost to allow for a helper on the day. If no weather protection is available, clients MUST provide a weighted shade umbrella for outdoor locations and notice of an alternative venue for inclement weather.
Order of Music:
Typically there a four areas for wedding ceremony music during a service:
1. PROCESSIONAL – 1 song
Entrance of bride and bridesmaids. Choose a favourite song, or piece of music, with special meaning as this is likely to be the song you will remember most on the day.
2. COMMUNION – 1 song (optional)
It’s wise to check with your minister whether there are any restrictions on the music for your service.
3. REGISTER – 2 songs
Signing the register tends to take a little time, allowing for photographic opportunties. The second song can be faded out if necessary.
4. RECESSIONAL – 1 song
Your grand exit. A happy, upbeat number is perfect to celebrate the finale.
*Instrumental music can also be supplied for Offerings, Candle Lightings etc.
We have a wide range of songs to choose from, catering for each bride and groom’s taste, plus a range of background romantic or instrumental music to play via an iPod while guests are waiting.
